Welcome to our charming River Hideout cabin directly on the river in the tiny mountain town of Raymond, Colorado. Between Estes Park and Lyons, just 6 miles south of Allenspark, our cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath getaway is great as a quiet retreat or as a comfortable base from which to explore the best that a Colorado vacation has to offer.

Loft Bedroom: Double bed with custom 32" single bed. (Note: loft bedroom is access by Indian Ladder and is not appropriate for the very young and some other individuals. Please see pictures)
Two baths: one with shower, one with claw foot bath tub.
One double sleeper/sofa
Sleeps up to 5 adults and 2 kids comfortably.

Cabins & Rates

At River Hideout you can fish off the back patio, BBQ on the deck while you listen to the river or watch the moon rise over the cliffs across the Middle St. Vrain River while you enjoy a campfire and roast marshmallows. Hike in Rocky Mountain National Park just a few miles down the Peak to Peak Highway, a designated scenic highway or visit Estes Park just 22 miles down the road and shop, ride the tram or mini golf. If you are hiking with your four legged friend, we’ll provide you with a list of the pet friendly trails nearby. Convenient to rock climbing, fishing, horseback riding and skiing at nearby Eldora Mountain Resort, this quaint cabin is your perfect vacation choice. Just relaxing in this quiet setting is a vacation in itself.

There is a large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen. The living room has a wonderful wood stove, two couches from which to watch the 42” flat screen TV, and lots of books and games. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a bath with shower attached. An enclosed loft above the kitchen has a double bed with 32" custom single bed. The main bath has an antique, claw-foot bath tub. There is a small playhouse cabin out back for kids to play in.

The cozy cabin itself is in a scenic area of vacation cabins where many families have returned summer after summer for generations. Just relaxing in this quiet setting is a vacation in itself.
